👨🍳 North Scottsdale just got a very exclusive – and very expensive – new way to eat.
Belmont Kitchen & Cocktails is launching The Chef’s Table at Belmont, priced at $1,000 per guest, with a four-guest minimum. That means a party of four is looking at a $4,000 check before tax and gratuity – though wine pairings, at least, are baked into the price.
It’s a bold number for the Valley, and it’s clearly the point: this isn’t a special-occasion splurge, it’s a statement experience.
What $1,000 actually buys
For that price, guests get the only table offered that evening, helmed personally by two-Michelin-star chef Alex Stratta (pictured). The multi-course tasting menu is custom-built around the preferences of the specific guests at the table – not a set menu everyone gets.
Expect exceptional ingredients, a dedicated table setting, luxury wine pairings running through every course, and direct, personal face time with Stratta himself throughout the meal.
Because Belmont is capping it at a single table per select evening, there’s no other party in the room competing for attention.
The details
- Price: $1,000 per guest (tax and gratuity additional)
- Minimum party: Four guests – $4,000+ minimum spend before tax and tip
- Included: Wine pairings throughout the evening
- Availability: One table only, on select evenings
- First seating: Saturday, Nov. 7
Reservations run through OpenTable. Given the single-table limit, expect it to move fast among Scottsdale’s fine-dining regulars – high price tag or not.
Who is Alex Stratta?
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Stratta’s résumé reads like a tour of the world’s most celebrated kitchens. He trained under Alain Ducasse at Louis XV, worked alongside Daniel Boulud at Le Cirque, and led kitchens at the late Mary Elaine’s at The Phoenician and Renoir at The Mirage – Valley and Vegas dining landmarks in their own right.
His own restaurant, Alex at Wynn Las Vegas, earned two Michelin stars, cementing his place among the country’s top chefs. He’s also taken home a James Beard Award for Best Chef Southwest and been named a Food & Wine Best New Chef.
