Luna Grill expands to Phoenix – its 4th Valley spot in less than a year

🥙 Luna Grill, the fast-casual Mediterranean chain beloved for its made-to-order kabobs, bowls and wraps, has opened its doors on the southwest corner of Dove Valley and 29th Avenue in north Phoenix – the brand’s fourth Arizona location since November 2025.

Since debuting in Mesa less than a year ago, Luna Grill has added restaurants in Gilbert and Avondale, and now north Phoenix, stitching together a growing footprint across the Valley almost as fast as diners can order a Santorini bowl.

‘‘Opening our fourth Arizona location in less than a year is a major milestone for Luna Grill and a reflection of the incredible response we’ve received across the Valley,’’ said CEO Rich Pinnella, adding that the brand wants to be part of the fabric of the neighborhoods it enters, not just another lunch stop.

Community integration

That neighborhood-first philosophy shows up literally on the walls. Local artist Lizzy Nilsen designed a custom mural for the new location, inspired by what makes north Phoenix north Phoenix – part of Luna Grill’s ongoing practice of commissioning site-specific art for every store it opens.

As for the food: expect the same formula that’s built Luna Grill’s fan base since Sean and Maria Pourteymour founded it in San Diego back in 2004 – 24-hour marinated proteins, gyros shaved fresh to order, and sauces made from scratch daily, all served up as kabobs, bowls, wraps, salads and family meals.
