Colorado restaurateurs bring Urban Hip-E to Mill Avenue in Tempe

Urban Hip-E Fresh Kitchen, a fast-casual, Mediterranean-inspired concept from Montrose, Colo., has opened on the northwest corner of Mill and 10th Street just south of downtown Tempe.

The menu features gyros, flatbreads, protein bowls, salads, ramen and dumpling soups, toasts, and smoothies.

Urban Hip-E is the brainchild of Stanya and James Gorraiz, Phoenix area natives who have spent the past 10 years in Colorado’s restaurant scene. Their G6 Culinary Concepts also include Steamie’s Burger Bar and Shake N’ Dog, both in Telluride.

Urban Hip-E is open 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
