Serrano’s Pink Menu returns to support Check for a Lump

Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its eighth annual Pink Menu, available through October at its Mesa and Queen Creek locations.

A portion of proceeds benefits Check for a Lump, an Arizona nonprofit providing breast health education, mammograms, diagnostic testing and wigs

The menu features Stephanie’s Stacked Enchiladas ($12.99), layered with corn tortillas, black beans, shredded chicken, tomatillo sauce and cheese, plus a Pink Out Margarita Sampler ($10.99) with raspberry, strawberry, passionfruit-strawberry, and watermelon flavors.

Mammograms & ‘Pink Out’

Free mobile screening mammograms will be offered 7 to 11 a.m. this Saturday at the Queen Creek restaurant for eligible Arizona residents 35 and older. Advance application is required at checkforalump.org/freemammograms.

Next Saturday, Oct. 17, both locations host a “Pink Out” honoring Stephanie Serrano, the former co-owner and Chandler City Councilmember who died of breast cancer in 2019. Guests wearing pink get complimentary pink buñuelos (pictured) and $2 off the enchiladas.
