Arizona Taco Fest, the state’s biggest taco party, returns to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick this Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 11 a.m.
Top taco makers will compete for gold under live judging. Look for defending champion Tacos & More (pictured), Taco Chelo, Ghost Street Asian Taqueria, Cinder at the Peak, Flacos Tacos, and more, with most vendors serving at least one taco for $5 or less.
Celebrity chefs Aarón Sánchez, Maria Mazon, and Beau MacMillan headline, and MacMillan returns to host the Arizona Taco Fest Bar Brawl. Add cooking and mixology demos, music from Wheelwright and Las Calakas, and a VIP area with an agave spirits tasting from presenting sponsor Tequila Corrido.
Tickets
Tickets ($23.05-$116.03) are sold online only, with no box office, and prices go up on festival day. Kids 12 and under get in free (there’s a kids zone with rides and bounce houses) and parking is free.
The festival runs rain or shine.
