Surf and turf gets a serious upgrade next week in downtown Chandler. Elliott’s Steakhouse is welcoming Chula Seafood into its kitchen for “The Cut & The Catch,” a six-course collaboration dinner on Monday, Oct. 26, and Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The idea is simple: every course puts a premium cut from the land beside a catch from the sea.
What’s on the menu
The evening opens with beef tallow-toasted brioche topped with whole milk ricotta and smoked trout roe. Next comes a venison and ahi tuna carpaccio, then crispy duck alongside crispy salmon with Japanese yam miso purée and fig.
After a white balsamic sorbet resets the palate, the main event arrives: a steak duet of Australian Wagyu and swordfish with pozole verde, bone marrow red chile sauce, little neck clams, and beef tallow fried potatoes.
An apple frangipane tart with rum caramel closes things out.
If you go
Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. both nights and costs $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity, with optional drink pairings. Reservations: 480-474-4155.
