Surf’s up, and so are the burgers. Lenny’s Craft Burger has opened at Cannon Beach in southeast Mesa. It’s a dressed-up take on one of the Valley’s longest-running burger brands, set against the desert’s most unlikely waterfront.
The restaurant sits at 4525 S. Power Road #105 (map), next to Revel Surf. The view is a big part of the draw. A spacious patio and bar give guests a nearly front-row seat to the action, so you can watch surfers drop into a set while you work through a burger and a cocktail.
What’s on the menu
The menu keeps Lenny’s classics, including the Garlic Mushroom, the Cowboy, and the New Mexico Hot Green Chile. It adds newcomers like the West Coast Pastrami and the Desert Heat, which is topped with Flamin’ Hot Doritos, pepper jack, and grilled jalapeños. Burgers run $15.50 to $19.50.
Beyond the burgers, there’s a lineup of shareables, such as a Hatch green chile artichoke dip and a caramelized onion dip with house-made chips. The kitchen also turns out $8 pinsas, a mahi-mahi sandwich, fish and chips, salads and a kids menu.
Hours
The Cannon Beach spot is the sixth Lenny’s location. It joins restaurants in Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix, and Glendale, and it carries the name of a Valley favorite that’s been grilling for more than 40 years.
Lenny’s Craft Burger is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
