The Valley’s 13th Cheba Hut opens today near the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Oak Street in south Scottsdale. It’s the fifth shop in less than two years for franchise owners Justin and Michelle Lemos, who also run the north Scottsdale, 101 and Shea, Paradise Valley, and Arcadia locations.
The menu has more than 30 toasted subs named for cannabis strains, in 4-, 8-, and 12-inch sizes, plus munchies like pretzel nugs, garlic cheese bread and Krispy Bars. A full bar serves liquor, beer and wine.
Muralist Joshua Finley reimagined Old Town as an anime scene, and work by local artists is on the walls and for sale.
Hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
