The Sandwich Spot, a California-based chain known for made-to-order specialty sandwiches, housemade sauces, and fresh-baked bread, has opened in the former Jimmy John’s space on the southeast corner of Veterans Way and College Avenue in Tempe.
It’s the brand’s third Valley shop, joining locations in Glendale and Phoenix, and is run by franchise partners Timothy Redelsperger and Mike Sayre.
What’s on the menu
The menu features 27 signature sandwiches with tongue-in-cheek monikers like the Marsha Marsha Marsha, the Joey Tribiani, the I’ll Have What She’s Having, and the Say Hello To My Little Friend.
Halves run $8.50 and wholes $13.95, and any sandwich can become a lettuce wrap or salad.
Hours
The Sandwich Spot is open 10:45 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10:45 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday (until 11 p.m. after ASU football games), and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
