Indian fusion concept Dum N Grill makes AZ debut in Chandler

Biryani lovers, take note: Texas-born Indian fusion concept Dum N Grill has made its Arizona debut in south Chandler, moving into the former Rubio’s Coastal Grill space on the northeast corner of Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo Road.

What’s on the menu

The name nods to dum, a slow-cooking method in India where ingredients are cooked over low heat, usually in a sealed vessel. That technique drives the menu’s biryanis, made with basmati rice, marinated ingredients, and layered spices, alongside fire-grilled kebabs, curries, and Indo-Chinese appetizers.

Signature dishes include Chicken Hariyali Kabab, marinated in a green herb paste; Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani, made with an Andhra-style lentil broth; Nalli Gosht Biryani with bone-in mutton; and Mirapakaya Kodi Vepudu, a chicken fry with green chilies.
