Drake’s Hollywood rolls out red carpet in Old Town Scottsdale

Old Town Scottsdale gets a dose of old Hollywood glamour when Drake’s Hollywood opens at 4 p.m. today in the former Buca di Beppo space near the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Main Street.

The Dallas-born celebrity haunt also has locations in West Hollywood and Houston. At 8,000 square feet, Scottsdale is the brand’s largest location yet.

Vandelay Hospitality Group is channeling 1930s and ’40s Hollywood and New York glamour. Arrivals are valet-only, and inside you’ll find red leather booths and a circular bar framed by murals and hand-painted portraits, with mahogany, brass, and chandeliers throughout.

Tucked inside is Maître D’, a members-only club with its own entrance, cocktails, wine list, and late-night bites.

From Wagyu to a 24-layer cake

On the plate, expect Italian American and steakhouse fare. Highlights include steak tartare, spicy tuna crispy rice, lobster escargot, the cult-favorite cauliflower dynamite, Milo’s lobster pasta, and honey truffle chicken.

The beef program runs from dry-aged ribeye to A5 Wagyu with white truffle butter.

Save room for the towering 24-layer strawberry cake.

The bar’s calling card is the “World’s Coldest Martini,” made with Grey Goose, vermouth, and citrus bitters and served at sub-zero temperatures.

Hours

4-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
