🍹 SanTan Spirits has partnered with Casa Maestri Tequila and Sun Orchard Beverages to create a new line of ready-to-drink canned margaritas.
Two flavors – a traditional margarita and a mango margarita, both high-proof (10.5% ABV) – are available at SanTan’s locations in Chandler and Sky Harbor Airport.
Scottsdale-based Tequila Corrido has begun selling its agave spirit in Tennessee, expanding the U.S. footprint for its Tequila Corrido Blanco, Tequila Corrido Reposado, and Tequila Corrido Añejo to 38 states. The company plans to launch in Texas and New Mexico next, although no dates have been announced.
Little Rituals, the 3-year-old bar at the Residence Inn/Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Phoenix, has been named one of four finalists for Best U.S. Hotel Bar in the prestigious 2022 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. Phoenix’s Bitter & Twisted, which was among 10 semifinalists for Best U.S. Cocktail Bar, failed to make the final four in its category. Winners will be announced July 28.
American Premium Vodka – a Phoenix-based company launched in March by Mark Gus Scott (pictured), drummer for the early 1990s glam metal band Trixter – has launched a campaign to donate $1 from every bottle sold to American Legion Charities. The north Phoenix resident is conducting a launch party tour of Legion posts across the country.

Finalists will be narrowed to four in each category on June 21, and winners will be announced July 28.
Congrats to Chandler-based SanTan Spirits, which picked up six medals at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, one of the world’s most prestigious spirits competitions. SanTan won a gold medal for its Sacred Stave American Single Malt and silver medals for its Jacob Waltz Bottle in Bond Bourbon, SweetPeach Bourbon, and CaraMellow Salted Caramel Whiskey. It also won silvers in the ready-to-drink category for SunSplash White Peach Vodka Soda and GingerPunk Whiskey Mule.
Macayo’s Mexican Food, the local chain with eight Valley locations, has rolled out a new beverage menu in consultation with Jason Asher from Barter & Shake. New glassware, including clay mugs and cantarito glasses, can be purchased through the restaurant’s website.
The 10th annual Arizona Cocktail Weekend with more than 30 events at bars and clubs throughout the Valley starts Friday, Feb. 18. Signature events include The Cocktail Carnival (Saturday), Top Bars (Sunday), and Last Slinger Standing (Monday).
