Maryland-based Fractured Prune Doughnuts continues to expand its footprint in Arizona. The chain will open its seventh location May 17 at Santan Village shopping center in Gilbert.
The shop is between Dairy Queen and Van’s, just east of Dillard’s, at the north end of the outdoor mall.
Fractured Prune sells made-to-order gourmet doughnuts featuring 19 glazes and 14 toppings. Bestsellers include Death By Chocolate, Marshmallow Madness, and Chocolate Covered Cherry.
The first 12 people through the doors at the Gilbert location May 17 will receive a dozen doughnuts every month for a year. The next 188 customers will get two free doughnuts.
Fractured Prune made its Arizona debut in Chandler in 2014. The chain will open its eighth AZ location next month in Flagstaff.
