🥬 Lowdown Vegan, the late-night vegan drive-through on the southwest corner of McDowell and 15th Street in Phoenix, has shut down after nine months.
Owners Theron Evans and Jai Jones had been operating out of Froth Coffee Roasters after the daytime business closed.
‘‘We have decided to temporarily suspend our operations,’’ Evans posted on social media. ‘‘The challenges of our current space is too great for us to move forward.’’
Those challenges had nothing to do with Froth, he said, adding that the couple plans to do occasional pop-ups at events.
