I get calls and emails all the time asking two questions:
- Why don’t I cover more restaurants in Scottsdale, Phoenix, or the West Valley?
- Do I know of any websites like Mouth by the Southwest that do?
Let’s face it: When it comes to local food and drink websites, the Valley is about as barren as the desert that surrounds it.
So I’m always happy to see someone launch a new website, especially a writer as plugged into the local scene as Christina Barrueta.
You may recognize the name from her articles in Arizona Wine Lifestyle magazine or other local publications.
Her stylish new website is called Write on Rubee – a nod to her longtime Twitter handle @Rubee100 – and she writes about restaurants, cooking, drinking, and traveling.
