Loco J’s Tacos & Tequila, a polished Mexican restaurant with a full bar, has opened in the former Barro’s Pizza space on the northwest corner of Tatum and Dynamite in Cave Creek.
The menu: Eight kinds of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, burgers, Sonoran dogs, quinoa bowls, salads, nachos, and more.
- Bar offerings include 100 mezcals, including 80 tequilas (and tequila flights). There also are a dozen specialty cocktails, draft and bottled beers, and wines by the glass or bottle.
Open: 3-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 3-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
