Noodle Bar, a popular Japanese restaurant in downtown Phoenix, posted a notice saying it was unable to renew its lease and will go on ‘‘hiatus’’ Sunday, April 7.
Located on the northwest corner of First Avenue and Adams, the 3-year-old restaurant specializes in ramen, offering six different varieties.
Until the hiatus/closure, Noodle Bar will have limited hours of 5-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday with nightly close-out specials.
No word on whether the restaurant plans to look for a new location.
