It’s been so long since the news broke you may have forgotten that Postino is taking over the former Tempe Public Market Cafe in south Tempe.
The winecafe concept finally has announced an opening date: Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The ill-fated TPMC shut down in January after two years, and Postino parent company Upwards Projects quickly grabbed the space on the northeast corner of Rural and Warner.
It’s Postino’s eighth location in the Valley and third in the East Valley.
