The Global Ambassador & 4 of its 5 restaurants open today in east Phoenix

🏨 The Global Ambassador, a luxury hotel from famed Arizona restaurateur Sam Fox, and four of its five restaurants open today on the northwest corner of 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix.

Fox, a 12-time James Beard Award nominee, sold Fox Restaurants Concepts to The Cheesecake Factory in 2019, but remains its CEO. He has opened 150 restaurants nationwide.

The 141-room hotel, inspired by his international travels, will offer five new food and drink concepts. The four opening today:

Le Âme: A Parisian steakhouse and bistro that pays homage to traditional French fare like Steak Frites and Mussels en Boullion along with dishes like Loup de Mer and Crab Tagliolini. It will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Pink Dolphin: A poolside Mexican and Peruvian restaurant where you can dive into Peruvian Ceviche, Cancha (shallow-fried corn seasoned with lime and salt), or the Skinny Dip (a pitcher of skinny margaritas with a side of chips and guacamole).

Le Market: A chic yet elegant Parisian patisserie serving decadent pastries and espresso in the morning and exquisite cheese presentations curated by an in-house fromager paired with natural wines in the evening.

Lobby Bar: A stylish bar with open windows to the hotel’s central courtyard that will pair an all-day snack menu with classic and craft cocktails with a European flair. Musical stylings will include jazz trios and special artist-in-residence nights.

The fifth concept, a Mediterranean rooftop restaurant called Théa, will focus on mezze (tapas), pasta, and coastal seafood. The restaurant will seat 1,000 guests and promises breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain.

Thea previously was scheduled to open Dec. 27, but has been pushed back to mid-January.
