👨🍳 Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ food and wine pairing – featuring three seasonal dishes paired with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17.
The menu:
- First course: Massaged kale with roasted sweet potato, butter beans, red onion, and sesame seeds on a bed of creamy garlic tahini dressing. Served with toasted pita. Paired with The Prisoner Blindfold Sauvignon Blanc 2022.
- Second course (pictured): Tender ribeye in lemon herb butter with roasted garlic and rosemary. Served with roasted asparagus, balsamic basil tomatoes, and mozzarella. Paired with Four Vines The Cowboy Poet Cabernet Sauvignon 2021.
- Dessert: Rich black forest cake with cherry topping. Paired with Wagner Family Conundrum Red Blend 2020.
