Honey Bear's BBQ Tempe AZHoney Bear’s BBQ, a Valley fixture for more than 25 years, has closed its south Tempe restaurant, although it will continue to use the space for delivery and catering.

The Tennessee-style BBQ joint opened at Priest and Elliot in 2004.

Earlier this year, two high-profile BBQ restaurants, Rudy’s and Can’t Stop Smokin’, opened about three miles away.

Honey Bear’s two Phoenix restaurants, including the original location just north of Tempe, remain open to the public.
