By Jess Harter Friday, October 19, 2012

Northern California’s Spring Mountain wines will be feaured at the Fall Wine Festival at D’Vine Chandler on Saturday. From noon-3 p.m., enjoy 20 high-end wines for just $30.

The Spring Mountain District is located on the eastern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains, which separate Napa Valley from Sonoma Valley. Its 1,000 acres of hillside vineyards are home to 30-some wineries.

Thanks to its unique location, about 90 percent of Spring Mountain wines are red, predominantly cabernet sauvignon.
