Each day during Arizona Restaurant Week (Sept. 17-25), MXSW looks at a special three-course dinner menu being offered by a participating East Valley restaurant.
Today: Monti’s La Casa Vieja, the steakhouse in downtown Tempe.
First course (choose one):
- Warm spinach & artichoke dip
- Traditional bruschetta
- Southwest shrimp gazpacho
- Spicy honey chicken drumsticks
Second course (choose one):
- Monti’s signature salad
- Caesar salad
- Balsamic salad
Third course (choose one):
- 6 oz. filet mignon wrapped with prosciutto
- Sea bass topped with lemon beurre blanc
- Chicken penne pasta
Additional offering (choice one):
- Cheesecake trio
- Red velvet round
Cost is $30 per person.

I’ve eaten at Monti’s; it’s fantastic, and the service is exceptional! The new menu sounds divine. Shrimp gazpacho and sea bass, here I come!
I would eat here even if my son-in-law, Eddie, weren’t one of the owners. Really!
