The third installment in Sonoran Brewing‘s Chef Series of seasonal beers will make its debut Friday at The Phoenician resort in Scottsdale. The traditional English-style nut brown ale, brewed in collaboration with chef Lee Hillson, who recently moved from the Royal Palms to the Phoenician, has been dubbed Lee’s Liquid Dinner.
From 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, get one of the first tastes of LLD along with a selection of hors d’oeuvres (sliders, fried pickles, pretzel bites, bread and butter pudding, and S’mores) in the breezeway of the resort’s Relish Burger Bistro. Cost is $35, which includes tax and tip. RSVP: 480-423-2530.
Sonoran kicked off the series with 7 Wives Saison (with Lon‘s chef Jeremy Pacheco) in March, followed by FFF (Eddie’s House‘s Eddie Matney) in June. Each features a label created by a different Valley artist (credit Ellison Keomaka for Lee’s Liquid Dinner, shown above). The limited-edition beers are sold in 22-ounce bomber bottles throughout the East Valley while supplies last.
