Prescott Brewing will debut the Heroes 19 ale at 5 p.m. Monday, followed by a moment of silence at 5:30. The collaboration beer was created at the brewery last month to honor the 19 fallen Granite Mountain firefighters.
Heroes 19 was made with 19 different hops donated by many of Arizona’s breweries, who also sent representatives to Prescott to help brew it. After Monday’s debut, it will roll out at other breweries around the state.
Pints will be $5 and growler fills will be $20. All sales will be donated to the firefighters’ families. The beer is expected to raise $75,000.
