1. Arizona’s premier beer festival will feature 250-plus beers from more than 100 breweries. See the latest update of who’s participating and what beers they’re pouring here.

2. The festival takes place at Steele Indian School Park in central Phoenix. See a Google map of the park’s location here. See the new layout of this year’s event, as well as parking info, here.

3. The gates open for VIP ticket holders at noon Saturday. General admission starts at 1 p.m. Last call is 4:45 p.m. The festival ends at 5 p.m.

4. General admission tickets are $50, which includes a 4-ounce tasting glass and 15 beer samples. Tickets are limited and may sell out before Saturday. Buy online here. VIP tickets already are sold out.

5. Designated driver tickets are $10 and include a soft drink or bottle of water at the Taste of Tops tent.

6. Several vendors will be selling food at an additional cost. In other words, food is not included in the ticket price.

7. Saturday’s forecast calls for bright sunshine and a high near 90 degrees. Dress appropriately. Wear sunscreen and/or a hat. Free water will be available – drink plenty of it.

8. Several local breweries and bars are offering pre-festival brunches. See some of them here.

9. Breweries will tap some rare or special beers throughout the day. See the schedule of tappings here. You also can text “strongbeer” to 555888 to get tapping text alerts.

10. Enjoy yourself, but please drink responsibly.
