No more perusing of out-of-date beer lists printed on paper at House of Brews. The Gilbert craft beer bar and grill has gone high-tech, becoming the first Arizona venue to install Digital Pour.

The software, from a company in Portland, displays the current beers on HOB’s 49 taps – along with the brewery, style of beer, beer description, IBUs, ABV, serving size, price, and more – on an array of four 50-inch monitors.

HOBDigitalPourCloseupDigital Pour is similar to the TapHunter app, but offers extra bells and whistles, including the approximate color of each beer and a real-time display of keg level.

The software also generates analytics on various metrics – for example, the average time a beer has been on tap – that can be grouped by beer, brewery, or style to help bar owners improve their inventory.

The display boards also include spaces to list such things as who checks in via FourSquare or Untapped, or a calendar of upcoming events.
