If you weren’t able to score tickets for this year’s sold-out Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest – one of the country’s premier beer events, to be held May 31 at the Paso Robles, Calif., brewery – you may find some solace tonight at Boulders on Broadway.

Besides Firestone usuals like Union Jack, DBA, and Pale 31, the Tempe bar will be tapping kegs of Stickee Monkee, Anniversary XVII, Sucaba, and Velvet Merkin at 6:30 p.m. Also being tapped: the recently retired Walker’s Reserve Porter and the new dry-hopped Opal.

Starting at 7, BOB will be offering a $25 sampler that includes two premium pours, two fleet pours, a pulled pork tostada with white chocolate bacon cream sauce, a cucumber plank with lump crab meat, a smoked salmon corn cake, and a macaroon.
