Sunday: Cooking demos & more at Tempe Community Market

The Tempe Community Market, which takes place 8 a.m. to noon Sundays next to the Marquee Theatre under the Loop 202 bridge, is celebrating National Farmers Market Week .

The festivities will include cooking demos and gazpacho tastings with chef Larry Canepa from Metrotech High School (9-11 a.m.), live music by Randy Olsen & Friends (9-noon), a raffle drwaing (11:30), and children’s activities.

More than 40 vendors will be selling fruits, vegetables, and local food products.
