Looking for a no-hassles idea for Valentine’s Day?
MWC Bistro in Gilbert and My Wine Cellar in Ahwatukee are making Valentine’s Day fun, affordable, and easy with beer and wine flights with a shared plate pairing on Saturday, Feb. 14..
No reservations, no three-hour marathon menus – just drop in anytime, relax, and enjoy. Both locations will be open from noon to 11 p.m., with live music starting at 7 p.m.
The pairings are available all day along with the full menu, so you can stay and order more if you desire.
Cost is $40 per couple, which includes three 3-ounce glasses of wine or four 6-ounce beers per person and a large shared plate of artisan meats or cheeses, a combo plate of meats and cheeses, or a dessert platter.
The choices for flights are as follows:
- Sweet: Sip a sultry Moscato, a sweet chilled red wine and a rich Port.
- Bold: Experience a strong Bordeaux style blend, an Old World big red blend and a powerful California Cabernet.
- Sexy: Indulge with a silky Pinot Noir, a supple, jammy New World red and a luscious dessert red.
- Romantic: Enjoy three types of bubbly – the delectable red rose-hued Rosa Regale, a sparkling Cava from Spain and a light, lovely Prosecco from Italy.
- Beer lovers: Try four stellar craft suds hand-selected by our staff.
