Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert will hold its monthly “3rd Tuesday” dinner – in which the kitchen crew creates three new menu items and the waitstaff pairs them with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Feb. 17 “3rd Tuesday” menu:

  • Buffalo Katsu: Crispy breaded pork loin, spinach, roasted red pepper, pickled cauliflower, leeks, cucumber, carrots, red cabbage salad with a prickly pear syrup, buffalo ranch dressing, blue cheese (paired with 2012 Vinum Cellars Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon)
  • Jambalaya Rojas: Chicken, andouille sausage, shrimp, stewed tomatoes, roasted whole garlic, spinach, red peppers, brown rice jambalaya, fresh jalapeños, herbed goat cheese stuffed peppers, creole and Cajun spices (paired with 2011 Finca Lopez Noceti Malbec 1919)
  • Coqueta: Butter Scotch pudding with toasted hazelnuts and chocolate (paired with Almond Roca Cream)
