Uncle Bear’s Brewery will be taking over four tap handles at 6 p.m. Friday at Evo, an Italian-influenced restaurant and lounge in Old Town Scottsdale. The Ahwatukee brewery’s ales on tap will include: Mandarin Wheat Head To Tale Amber Ale Dog
Old Town Scottsdale pizzeria and bar Craft 64 opened in March, but didn’t finish installing its beer taps until April. That hasn’t kept the new venue from reaching a significant milestone in less than four months: 25,000 pints of Arizona beer
After postponing its launch earlier this summer, the first Arizona Breakfast Weekend will take place this Thursday through Sunday. Similar to Arizona Restaurant Week, restaurants will offer special breakfasts or breakfast dishes for $7, $15 or $25. East Valley participants and their deals:
Northern California-based Black Bear Diner, which made its Arizona debut in Gilbert in 2008, is expanding its footprint in the East Valley. The inexpensive, family-friendly chain is taking over the former Applebee’s on the northeast corner of Alma School and Queen Creek.
