Updated: St. Patrick’s Day festivities at MXSW sponsors

Fibber Magees Irish Pub: Opens at 8 a.m. for breakfast. Outdoor block party (pictured above) starts at noon. No cover before 2 p.m., $10 after 2 p.m. An outdoor kitchen will serve Irish dishes, while an outdoor bar will pour Irish beer, liquor and cocktails. Large covered beer garden and live entertainment all day and into the evening.

The Hungry Monk: Food specials include $9.50 corned beef & cabbage dinner, $6.50 corned beef sliders, and $5.50 Guinness stew. Drink specials include $7 Left Hand Car Bombs, $6 Leprachaun Koolade, $5 Green Tea shots, and $3 Sleepy Dog Red Rover pints.

Bourbon Jacks: All-day specials include Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, $3.50 domestic pints, $5.50 domestic 22-ounce, $5.50 Jameson’s, and $7 Car Bombs. Live Music starts at 4:30 with Nathan Dean, followed by John Eric Band at 8:30. No cover.

Ocotillo Golf Resort: $15 corned beef & cabbage, $12 Reuben sliders trio, $14 shepherd’s pie from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; $3 Guinness drafts and $45 Jameson Mules all day.

Social Box Neighborhood Eatery: Traditional fare like corned beef and cabbage and potatoes, ice -cold green beer, Irish shot specials, and Flogging Molly radio all day long.

The Perch: Corned beef & cabbage special and Irish music.

House of Brews: Stereo Rex performs from 7-10 p.m.
