Please welcome This Little Italian, a food blog created by Tempe resident Jackie Carro, as MXSW’s newest sponsor.
The recipes are inspired by and some adapted from dishes her mom, grandmother, or other influential women in her life prepared. Jackie’s fondest childhood memories are rooted in the kitchen, where at any given time her mom would prepare food for family, friends, and acquaintances.
When asked about her culinary point of view, she quickly noted that she is not a professionally trained chef by any means and stated, “I love to cook. I love to feed people! Our kitchen really is the heart of our home. This Little Italian is an equal-opportunity foodie – that means I love to make all kinds of dishes, not just Italian.
