Chandler-based SanTan Spirits has introduced a new trio of ready-to-drink canned cocktails called SunSplash Vodka Soda in cherry-lime, watermelon, and white peach flavors.

The quote: “We’ve been perfecting our vodkas for several years and have started to receive recognition in national competitions,’’ SanTan Spirits founder Anthony Canecchia says. ‘‘It seemed only natural to combine this with our experience in canning beer. I wanted to create a consistently delicious and accessible cocktail that we know Arizona is thirsty for.”

The numbers: Cans of SunSplash (5% ABV) have 100 calories, zero sugar, less than one gram of carbs, and are gluten-free.

Where to buy: Four-packs and single cans are available at SanTan Gardens Taproom in Chandler, independent liquor stores, Total Wine, and Bashas’, as well as select local bars and restaurants.

Please welcome This Little Italian, a food blog created by Tempe resident Jackie Carro, as MXSW’s newest sponsor.

The recipes are inspired by and some adapted from dishes her mom, grandmother, or other influential women in her life prepared. Jackie’s fondest childhood memories are rooted in the kitchen, where at any given time her mom would prepare food for family, friends, and acquaintances.

When asked about her culinary point of view, she quickly noted that she is not a professionally trained chef by any means and stated, “I love to cook. I love to feed people! Our kitchen really is the heart of our home. This Little Italian is an equal-opportunity foodie – that means I love to make all kinds of dishes, not just Italian.

‘‘My food blog is brand new and is a work in progress, so I hope you’ll visit and drop in often. I look forward to sharing my recipes along with some stories, as well as becoming acquainted with (and inspired) by you!’’

Please thank This Little Italian for its support of local food and drink coverage. You also should follow its Facebook page here.
