Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring three new food dishes paired with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18.
The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:
- Tapas Trio: Broccoli melt with tomato-bacon jam; salad greens wrapped in prosciutto; potato skins with Italian sausage and onions. Paired with 2016 Chapoutier Belleruche Rosé (Côtes du Rhône).
- Oktoberpork:Â Pork loin, sweet and sour red cabbage, vegetable Israeli couscous, apricot, and apple brandy sauce. Paired with 2013 Cuvaison Pinot Noir Carneros.
- Dessert: Espresso chocolate macadamia pudding (pictured). Paired with 2013 Kuleto Estate Native Son Red Napa Valley.
