This is a partial list of Veterans Day specials and fundraisers at East Valley restaurants and bars. Most are offered to both active and retired military and require ID and/or proof of service.
Bourbon Jacks: Free brunch from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday or free lunch from 1-4 p.m. Sunday with purchase of an entree equal to or greater in value.
The Brass Tap: The Gilbert location will host live music, a raffle, and silent auction from 4-8 p.m. Sunday with proceeds donated to Operation Enduring Warrior. Also being donated are a portion of proceeds from beers from veteran-owned breweries such as Honor, Grand Canyon, Mike Hess, Left Hand, Helios, and Cider Corps.
Good Time Charli’s: The restaurant is teaming up with the American Patriots RC for a Veterans Day Bike Poker Run supporting Dogs 4 Vets on Sunday. There’s a donation of $20 per rider and $10 per passenger. Registration is 10-11:30 a.m. at Chopper Johns in Phoenix. The final party starts at 2:30 p.m. at GTC with a gun raffle, door prizes, 50/50, and silent auction.
The Local Chandler: Get a free meal with the purchase of a meal of equal or lesser value Monday.
Nicantoni’s: Receive free garlic knots on Sunday. Also, Nicantoni’s is donating 10%Â of all sales Sunday (the restaurant is closed Monday) to American Legion Post 39 in Gilbert. The post recently suffered fire damage.
Venezia’s Pizza:Â Receive 20% off their order Sunday or Monday.
Cider Corps: The cidery celebrates its one-year anniversary from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday with beers on tap from veteran-owned breweries Old Ellsworth, Grand Canyon, and 1912.
Ginger Monkey: Get a free entree (up to $12) on Sunday. In addition,receive a 20% discount Nov. 12-18.
West Alley BBQ: Get a free sandwich and side on Monday. Offer is dine-in only.
B2 Burgers & Brews: Get a free classic burger and fries on Sunday. (Veterans/military receive 10% off every day.)
Ghett’ Yo’ Taco: Get a free three-taco combo from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
Ghost Ranch: Get a free blue corn pancake.
Famous Dave’s: Get a free “Two Meat Salute†Sunday or Monday.
