Grubstak, a 2-year-old poutine-like concept in downtown Gilbert, has opened a second location on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Ocotillo in south Chandler.
Grubstak’s offerings – known as Staks – are built on a layer of waffle fries, roasted vegetables, quinoa, or chopped romaine.
For toppings, diners can select one of nine chef-designed Staks – such as the Sweet Lou’s BBQ (barbecue beef, bacon, and cole slaw) or Chilaquiles (barbecoa chicken, black bean chili, cheese, and two fried eggs) – or build their own.
Signaturer Staks are $9.95-$11.45. Salads are $7.50-$10.95.
The restaurant will hiold a grand opening party on Wednesday, Dec. 5, with half off all happy hour food and $2 Michelob Ultra on draft.
Hours for the Chandler location are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
