The owners of GrindTime Coffee, a former East Valley food truck, have opened a bricks-and-mortar store on the northeast corner of McQueen and Warner in Gilbert.
Mark and Becky Housholder launched their truck in 2017. They were in the news in December when their family vehicle was rear-ended, severely injuring their 10-year-old daughter.
After the accident, as well as a series of mechanical problems with the food truck, the couple decided to sell the truck and follow their dream of opening a bricks-and-mortar coffeehouse.
The menu includes espressos ($2.50), Americanos ($3), cortados ($3.50), cappuccinos ($4), lattes ($4.50-$5), and cold brews ($3.50-$4.50).
Hours are 6 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
