Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, a Texas-based chain of fast-casual Mexican restaurants, is coming to SanTan Village in Gilbert.
It is expected to open late this year next to the new HomeGoods on the northeast corner of SanTan Village Parkway and Williams Field.
The new development area, just south of Dick’s Sporting Goods, also will include the previously announced East Valley debut of Shake Shack.
Ironically, Texas-born Fuzzy’s probably is best-known for its Baja-style tacos. It also offers burros, bowls, enchiladas, and fajitas. Beer and margaritas are served.
It will be Fuzzy’s second Arizona location. The first opened in downtown Tempe in 2011.
