El Autentico 1010, a 7-month-old Latin American restaurant in southwest Mesa, has opened a second location on the southeast corner of McKellips and Alta Mesa (the half-miler between Higley and Recker) in northeast Mesa.
It’s located at the opposite (west) end of the new multi-tenant building from the recently closed Osteria.
El Autentico 1010 offers a variety of Mexican, Colombian, and Peruvian dishes.
Mexican dishes include burros, tacos, enchiladas, and chiles rellenos (pictured).
Colombian dishes include empanadas, chorizo con arepa (spicy sausage on white corn cakes), and yuca frita (yuca fries).
Peruvian options include chaufa (fried rice) dishes, tallarin (noodle) dishes, and ceviches.
El Autentico 1010 is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. Closed Monday.
