The Sicilian Butcher and Pita Jungle are the latest Valley restaurants to jump into private-label wines.

Chef Joey

Executive chef Joey Maggiore debuted the first of three Chef Joey wines – a cabernet sauvignon – over the weekend at all three Sicilian Butcher locations. Cost is $50 per bottle.

The wine, grown and bottled by Andrew Geoffrey Vineyards in Napa, Calif., will be rolled out at two other Maggiore Group restaurants, Tomaso’s and Hash Kitchen, and then at retail outlets.

A chardonnay and a pinot noir are up next.

Jungle Vino

Pita Jungle will introduce its new Jungle Vino wines – a cabernet sauvignon and a chardonnay – this Thursday for National Drink Wine Day. Cost is $18 per bottle for dine-in or takeout.

You also can try them for just $5 per glass during happy hour.

The wines, produced and bottled by Matchbook Wines, a family-owned winery in Northern California’s Dunnigan Hills, will be available at all 24 Arizona locations.
