Bashas’ has announced the three grand prize winners of its seventh annual Donut Flavor Craze contest:
- In the kids’ category, 15-year-old Owen (no last name released) from Phoenix won for his Cotton Candy doughnut, a white raised donut with blue icing, circus animal cookies, and rainbow sprinkles’
- In the grown-up category, Ashton Morley from Camp Verde won for his Deep-Fried Oreo doughnut with cookies-and-cream-flavored filling, crunchy Oreo cookie bits, powdered sugar, and Nutella drizzle;
- In the Bashas’ employee category, Josh Weisler from Gilbert won for his Blue-Ribbon Blueberry Pie doughnut filled with blueberry jam and topped with icing, powdered sugar, and pie crust crumbs.
All three winning doughnuts will be available at Bashas’ bakeries through the end of the month.
