Car crashes through glass storefront at MOD Pizza in Gilbert

A car crashed through the glass front wall of the MOD Pizza on the northwest corner of Cooper and Warner in Gilbert this morning. The driver accidentally stepped on the gas instead of the brake, police told Channel 3. No injuries were reported. The restaurant likely will be closed several weeks for repairs.
