The Rosticceria, latest concept from Maggiore Group, debuts Friday

By Jess Harter Thursday, December 14, 2023

🍖 The Rosticceria, a restaurant specializing in wood-fired meats with an Italian twist, opens its doors at 3 p.m. Friday near the northeast corner of Tatum and Cactus in northeast Phoenix.

It’s the latest concept from The Maggiore Group, joining Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Butcher, The Sicilian Baker, The Mexicano, and The Italiano.

The 5,372-square-foot Rosticceria offers an ancient Rome-inspired decor, indoor and outdoor seating, an expansive bar, and a DJ booth.

Menu highlights include Arizona’s only authentic Neapolitan fried pizza, rotisserie chicken, and porchetta. Other Italian staples are calzones, paninis, and arrosticini (herb-rubbed skewered wood-fired meats).

There also is a build-your-own gelato shake bar with more than 40 toppings. The first 50 guests Friday will receive a free shake.

The Rosticceria is open from 3-11 p.m. daily.
