OHSO Brewery cans seasonal 988 beer & other news

🍺 September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and OHSO Brewery has just canned its seasonal 988, an IPA it launched in 2017 to raise awareness of the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. 🍕 New owners have rechristened the former Sardella’s Pizza & Wings on the southwest corner of Greenway Road and 32nd Street in Phoenix as Rihana’s Pizza & Wings, but have retained the same menu and recipes.

👨‍🍳 The Americano, an Italian-inspired steakhouse in Scottsdale led by celebrity chef Beau MacMillan, has hired another Food Network vet – 26-year-old Peter McQuaid – as executive chef. Look for a revamped menu later this month.

🍨 Salt & Straw in Gilbert is offering five special apple-themed ice creams this month: Apple Pie vs. Pumpkin Pie, Apple Cider Donuts, Finnriver’s Black Currant Apple Cider, Green Apple Wasabi Sorbet, and Caramel Apple Sherbet.
