
🌍 Mercy’s Kitchen, a restaurant offering West African cuisine prepared by Ghanaian chefs, has opened in Gilbert.
It takes over the former Thai Chili space on the southeast corner of Val Vista and Baseline.
Signature dishes include:
- Jollof, a dish with long-grain rice, fresh tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, garlic, ginger, and a blend of West African spices;
- Fufu, a dough-like dish made with cassava and plantain, served with goat meat in a spicy tomato broth;
- Banku, a fermented mixture of maize and cassava formed into single-serving dough balls, served with grilled tilapia.
The restaurant also offers catering.
