6 months after fire, Si Señor finally reopens Wednesday in Chandler

🌶️ The question that readers have asked most frequently over the past few months is, ‘‘Is Si Señor in Chandler ever going to reopen?’’ We finally have an answer.

The popular family-run New Mexican restaurant, which closed after an electrical fire Aug. 2, has announced it is reopening Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Si Senor, located on the northwest corner of Alma School and Galveston, was launched in 2001 by Irene Castillo, the daughter of the founders of the original Si Señor in Deming, N.M.

It’s known for baskets of freshly made chips with four dipping sauces, heaping platters of Hatch chile-infused food, and 10 varieties of frosty margaritas.
