After closing earlier this month, Pitta Souvli has reopened in Chandler

🥙 Good news for fans of south Chandler’s popular Greek eatery: Pitta Souvli reopened over the weekend after a closure earlier this month.

Owners Rhonda and Mike Edwards had been struggling with rising operating costs, overdue bills, and financial setbacks that threatened to shutter the family-run spot for good.

A customer launched a GoFundMe campaign hoping to raise $50,000 to cover expenses and payroll, but as of today the campaign has brought in just $3,495.

Despite the funding shortfall, the restaurant has quietly reopened from 3:30-8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
