Head Right Brewing brings lager love to Surprise in West Valley

🍺 The West Valley has long been thirsty for craft beer options. Enter Head Right Brewing, a just-opened Surprise taproom founded by Tom BoBo, Rocky Arredondo, and former Four Peaks brewer Andy Harden.

The lager-forward tap list includes the titular Head Right light lager, but also a blood orange wheat, a session IPA, and a hazy IPA.

Bar bites include green chile burgers, Mexican pizzas, and nachos.

The brewery is located just north of Waddell Road, about halfway between Litchfield Road and Bullard Avenue – the former home of Great Western Rose Co. nursery. A beer garden surrounded by rose bushes is planned.

Open 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday (no cocktails or kitchen), 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
